市民手作りの花火大会「つつじの郷 やいた花火大会」が開催されます。仮装パレードには、中学生以上の先着100 名様が参加可能で、コンテストの優勝者には賞金10万円を進呈します。小学生以下のお子様には「小さなおばけ集まれ～！」と題し、お面などで仮装できる無料の体験ブースを矢板公民館に設けます。
　そのほか、ファミリータイムでは、ダンスや吹奏楽などのステージイベント、ラストを飾る花火大会では尺玉やスターマインなど約10,000 万発の花火が夜空を鮮やかに彩ります。

Citizen handmade Tsutsuji-no-Sato Yaita Fireworks Festival will be held. The first 100 applicants who are junior high school students or older can participate in the costume parade and there is a prize of 100,000 yen to the winner of a contest. For elementary school children or younger, a free trial booth entitled Come here little ghosts! will be set up at the Yaita Public Hall so that they can disguise themselves with a face mask and more. In addition, stage events such as dances and brass bands are planned for family time. The finale of the fireworks festival, about 10 thousand fireworks such as Willow and Star Mine vividly color the night sky.
