素鵞熊野神社の恒例大祭で800有余年の歴史と伝統があります。
初日に天王様、権現様と呼ばれている二体の神輿が出御する「御浜下り」ではじまり、各町内の山車が神輿をお迎えします。
中日は渡御（町内御巡行）、最終日には還御（お山上り）が行われます。
獅子舞や総数十四台もの山車、そしてこの山車にのった芸座連によって奏でられる潮来ばやしも行われます。
圧巻は「のの字廻し」や「そろばん曳き」に代表される「曲曳き」で、若衆と山車、芸座連が一体となった様は必見です。
This festival at Sogakumano Shrine has over 800 years of history and tradition. Lion dances accompany over 40 floats with Itako hayashi accompaniments performing music as the floats parade down the streets. Each float has a unique display with historic and fictional characters on top, the combination of art, youth and unique floats are a sight to see.
