八朔祭りでは“三番叟”と“花踊”が奉納されます。
奉仕の少年少女が清められた舞台に昇り、三番叟の舞より奉納をします。三番叟を翁、千歳黒式尉の舞子３名（少年）、太鼓1名（大人）、小鼓3名（少年）、笛1名（大人）、脇役1名（大人）によって演じられます。
“花踊”は、8人の少女が白衣に緋袴の巫女姿で踊る優雅な舞です。花踊の名称は、少女たちが手に紅白の紙花をつけた竹を持つことから名付けられたと言われていますが、実際にはその他に手拭を持って踊る“手拭踊”や紅白の棒に赤・黄・緑の房をつけた毛槍を持って踊る“奴踊”、紅白の造花を盛った手籠を手に持って舞う“手籠踊”が次々に演じられ、これらを総称して“花踊”と呼ばれています。

A flower dance and sanbaso dance are performed at the Hassaku Festival. Young children perform a purification dance and present the sanbaso dance. The flower dance is an elegant dance performed by 8 girls wearing shrine maiden outfits.
