浦和まつりは市内の小中高生らによる音楽パレード、数十連の団体がそれぞれ華やかな衣裳で踊る浦和おどり、二十数基の御輿が旧中山道を練り歩くみこし渡御、威勢の良い踊りが人気の浦和よさこい、北浦和阿呆連をはじめ近隣の10以上の連が参加する北浦和阿波おどり大会と、様々なイベントが行われます。
The Urawa Festival has a huge parade with elementary and middle school children performing music; hundreds of Urawa dance groups in colorful costumes; twenty portable shrines are paraded along the Old Nakasendo Road; and high-spirited dancers perform the popular Urawa yosakoi dance. As well as the Kitaurawa Ahoren’s first dance tournament with over 10 local groups, and lots of other events.
