七夕飾りは市全体で約3,000本飾られており、湘南スターモール（旧東海道本通り）には大型の竹飾りが83本飾り付けられている。吹流しなどに電飾がなされており、昼間とは違う雰囲気が楽しめる。飾りはソフトビニール製で電飾がなされており、夜も楽しむ事ができる。

Over 3000 Tanabata decorations are put up around the entire town, with 83 large bamboo ornaments decorating the Shonan Star Mall (formerly Tokaido High Street). Electric decorations made from soft plastic light up the night for you to enjoy.
