香取神宮神幸祭

香取神宮4月14日・15日に行われる例祭。この祭りで奉納演奏される一種の囃子は「おらんだ楽隊」と呼ばれ、幕末から明治にかけて古来の神楽に洋楽を採り入れたことによりこの名がついた。昭和38年には県の無形民俗文化財に指定されている。
It is the annual festival held at Katori Shrine on April 14 and 15. The musical dance performed and dedicated at this festival is called the Oranda musical band, which was started during the Bakumatsu period to Meiji period by adopting foreign music into the ritual dances, and hence is named this way. The festival was registered as an Intangible Folk Cultural Asset for the prefecture in 1963.
