七日町観音堂の例祭で「観音様のお年夜」ともよばれています。境内にはだるまや熊手、羽子板など正月の縁起物を売る出店が立ち並び、参拝客で賑わいます。
またこの日は「切山椒」という駄菓子を食べるのが慣わしとなっています。
