鼠ヶ関厳島神社の例大祭。午前9時頃から白装束の精進徒が祭り太鼓や笛にあわせて御輿をかつぎ、街中を練り歩きます。午後2時頃に鼠ヶ関川にたどり着くと、神輿をかついで川に入り、神輿に水をかけ合って豊漁豊穣を願います。その勇壮な光景をお楽しみください。

Nezugaseki-Mikoshi-Nagashi is the most important religious ritual of the Nezugaseki Itsukushima Shrine. Young gentlemen wearing white clothes with a mikoshi (portable shrine) pass the shrine along with the festive sounds of drums and whistles, and walk through the streets from around 9:00 am. When they arrive at the Nezugaseki River at around 2:00 pm, they enter the river with the mikoshi, pour water on it and pray for richness in fishing. Please enjoy the brave spirits.
