醍醐地区荒処集落の厳島神社、弁才天沼に奉納する梵天で清水祭とも呼ばれています。文政年間（1818-29）以前の起源があり『雪の出羽路』にも記録が見られ、県内梵天行事の原形に近いともいわれています。江戸時代初めから祀っている弁才天に願をかけることから始まったとされ、かつては旧暦3月18日に行われていました。
