浅舞公園あやめまつりは横手市平鹿町にある浅舞公園で行われます。5.5haの敷地内ではあやめまつり期間中80種3万株50万本のハナショウブが咲き誇り県内外から多くの観光客が訪れます。
まつり期間の土日には多くのイベントが開催され、地元の物産等が販売される屋台＆テント村ができ、より楽しむ事が出来ます。
　6月 25日の夜限定で実施する「一夜限りのライトアップショー」で、音と光の中で見る「夜のアヤメ」も見所です。

Asamai Park Ayame Festival is held at Asamai Park in Hiraka-cho, Yokote City. During the Ayame Festival period, eighty species, thirty thousands roots, five hundred thousands hanashoubu in the grounds of 5.5ha bloom. During the weekend of festival period, many events are held. You can enjoy more with stall stores and tent town which open to sell local products.
