400年あまりの歴史を持ち＜でんでんづく踊り＞・＜きたさか踊り＞・＜三勝踊り＞の三つの踊りが伝承されています。 「見る踊り」ではなく「踊る踊り」といわれ、浴衣姿や色とりどりの仮装をした踊り子が、太鼓や笛の音に合わせ、歌いながら踊る姿は夏の風物詩となっています。

With a history of over 400 years, the festival has a tradition of dancing the three dances; Dendenduku dance, Kitasaka Dance and Sansho Dance. It is said to be a dance event that you do not "watch", but actually "dance". Dancers dressed yukata and colorful costumes, with drums and flutes making sounds, and participants sing along as they dance, which represents the summer in the region.
