日本海に面した三種町の恵まれた自然を生かし、環境省認定日本の快水浴場100選の釜谷浜海水浴場で繰広げる、砂像制作展示イベントです。高さ3.0mのメイン砂像のほか、中型砂像や小型砂像などたくさんの作品が展示されます。
また、自分で砂像作りを体験できる「砂像制作体験」も開催されます。

By making use of the blessed natural environment by Mitane-cho along the Japan Sea, a sand sculpture exhibition event is held at the Kamayahama Beach, which is considered one of the top 100 beaches chosen by the Japan Department of Environment. Besides the main sand sculptures that are 3 meters tall, sculptures of medium and small sizes, many sand sculptures of all sizes can also be seen.
Participants can also enjoy taking part in the sand sculpture making experience.
