土崎港曳山祭りは秋田市土崎港に伝わる由緒あるお祭り（土崎神明社例祭）で毎年７月２０日～２１日の両日に行われます。毎年奉納される「曳山（ひきやま）」の台数はその年によって違いますが、最近はおおむね２０台前後で秋田三大囃子に数えられる「港ばやし」にのって町中を練り歩く壮大なお祭りです。一部で「カスベ祭り」と呼ばれることもありますが、この曳山祭りになると、各家庭において必ずといっていいほど、魚の「えい」（軟骨魚で体が平たく尾は細長い）の乾物を煮込んだものを一品の料理としてお膳に添え、来客をもてなす風習があることからのようです。
Tsuchizaki Minato Hikiyama Festival is a prestigious festival (Tsuchizaki Shinmeisha Shrine Festival) held on July 20 and 21, and handed down in Tsuchisaki Bay, Akita City. The number of dedicated "Hikiyama (float)" varies depending on the year, but about 20 floats parade through the town along with "Minato Bayashi" which is one of the 3 Hayashi festival music of Akita. It is a very glorious festival.
