地元に賑わいと活気を生み出そうと立ち上がった魚津の若者有志が「魚津祭組」を結成し、2013年に誕生した魚津の新しいお祭りです！主会場では、魚津伝統芸能の「せり込み蝶六」をアレンジした「よっしゃ来い!!CHOUROKUコンテスト」が開催され、園児から大人まで、総勢700名以上が演舞。また、魚津の夏の風物詩である「たてもん」が街中を駆け巡ります。

This is a new festival stared in 2013 by young volunteers from Uozu who organized "Uozu Festival Group" to bring forth prosperity and energy to a local area! At the main site, there is a "Yossha koi! Choroku contest" which is arranged from Uozu's traditional folk entertainment "Serikomi Choroku". Total of over 700 people from a kindergarten child age to elderly dance and take part. Uozu's summer tradition "Tatemon" run through the town.
