ひみまつりは「六万人こころのふれあい」をテーマに、氷見市民により行われている祭りです。魚提灯山車パレード、獅子舞フェスティバル、子供たちの演奏やパレード、ひみ音頭のまち流しなど多彩な催しがあります。最後には、約５４００発の花火が打ち上がり、氷見の夜空をを彩ります。

Himi Festival is run by Himi city citizens with the themw of “touch the hearts of 6 million people”. There are various events such as the fish lantern floats parade, the lion dance festival, children’s performances and parade, and the Himi Ondo music procession. The festival finishes with a 5,400 fireworks display.
