盛岡さんさ踊りは藩政時代から盛岡市近郊各地で行われていた伝統的な様々な「さんさ踊り」を統合、観光イベント化したお祭りです。
4日目に参加団体のほとんどが一斉に繰り出す「大輪踊り」が行われ、その後、全体の自由参加輪踊りにてフィナーレを迎えます。

The Morioka Sansa Dance is a festival that has attracted tourists to the suburbs of Morioka since the Edo period with its variety of traditional sansa dances.
On the 4th day all the groups that have participated in the festival come together to perform the tairin odori (large flower dance), followed by the finale where everyone is free to dance together.
