23日の宵々宮から山鉾が建ち始め、ちょうちんが飾られる。23日、24日の夜はお囃子が響く中、路地行灯とご神灯の灯りで彩られにぎわう。25日にはミニ祇園祭とも称せられ、鉾の巡行がある。また、鉾まちを中心に屏風祭、街かどギャラリーが催される。
