近年パワースポットとしても人気の熊野那智大社で行われる例大祭。
十二体の扇神輿を、重さ50ｋｇ以上の大松明の火で迎え清める神事「那智の火祭り」は観るものを圧倒させる。
This annual festival is held at the incredibly popular Nachi Kumano Taisha shrine. 12 portable mikoshi shrines decorated with fans stand near the shrine. They are overwhelmed with large torches weighing over 110 pounds, which are waved near the shrines in the cleaning ritual of Nachi’s Fire Festival.
