三重県北部の地方に多い石取祭の一つ。
金曜日（前夜祭）・土曜日（町練り）・日曜日（本練り）の3日間行われる。
山車が聖武天皇社にお参りした後、鉦や太鼓の賑やかな音を町中に響かせて練り回く。
This is one of the many Ishitori festivals to northern part of Mie Prefecture, and happens over 3 days on Friday (the festival eve), Saturday (town procession), and Sunday (the finale).
After floats pray for Shomutenno-sha Temple, people parade around town bustling down with gongs and drums.
