天神祭、住吉祭に並ぶ大阪三大夏祭りの一つ。別名「浴衣まつり」と呼ばれ、浴衣の参詣者が多く、「愛染娘」を宝恵駕篭に載せ独特のかけ声と共に練歩くパレードは有名。
また、愛染まつり中で小雨に降られた2人は結ばれるという伝説も残る。

This Tenjin Festival is one of Osaka’s three major summer festivals. It is also called the “yukata festival” as many worshipers wear yukata (summer kimono). The parade carrying “Aizen Girls” on the palanquin along with distinctive shouts is famous. There is also the legend that if it rains a little during the Aizen Festival then you and your partner will be connected.
