金峯山寺の三大行事の一つで、弁天池の蓮の華を蔵王堂に運んで奉じるもの。
大青ガエルの太鼓台が町内を練り歩き、金峯山寺蔵王堂の前で人間に戻されるという「蛙飛び行事」も行われる。

One of the three largest events at the Kinpusen Temple, where a Benten Pond lotus flower is carried to the Zaouodu (main hall of the shrine). A large green frog accompanied by drums is paraded around the town, and the “frog jumping event” is held in front of the main hall of Kinpusen Temple so that the frog can return to his human form.
