松島灯籠流し花火大会では、松島湾に浮かぶ無数の灯籠が、水面を金色に染めながら流れ、その上空では、花火があたりを七色の華麗な輝きで彩れます。水中スターマイン、大スターマインなどの多彩な花火が打上げられると、湾内に浮かぶ島々のシルエットが映し出され、よりロマンチックな眺めとなります。毎年、大勢の観光客でにぎわう人気の花火大会です。

Numerous lanterns are floated down Matsushima Bay, turning the surface of the water gold, as the sky above is lit up in a brilliant rainbow of colors by fireworks.
