白石夏まつりは、大勢の市民が参加する夏祭りです。
子供会や誘致企業などの20数団体が参加する白石音頭パレードは、歩行者天国となった商店街を各団体が趣向を凝らした衣装でパフォーマンスを繰り広げます。
翌日に行われる花火大会では、約3000発の光の芸術が城下町白石の夏の夜空を飾ります。

A huge crowd of locals participate in this summer festival every year. Each group that performs in the Shiraishi Ondo parade performs in elaborate costumes down the shopping district which becomes restricted to pedestrians.
Over 3000 lights paint the night sky above the castle town of Shiraishi during fireworks display.
