山車フェスタは2007年、福島市制100周年を記念して初開催されました。市内各地の町会や青年会などが守り継いでいる山車が一堂に会し、福島市中心市街地をにぎやかに練り歩きます。約20数台という規模の山車が参加するお祭りは全国でも珍しく、その競演は大迫力です！

Dashi (float) Festa was held in 2007 for the first time to commemorate the 100 years of Fukushima City. Floats which are inherited to neighborhood associations and young men's associations get together and parade through the center of Fukushima City. It is very rare that about 20 floats participate in the festival at the nationwide level. All the parade floats are appealing all together.
