安産子育ての守護神を祭神に祀る生子神社の境内で子供の健やかな成長を祈願して開催されている行事。力士に扮した役員氏子が、東西の土俵から幼児同志を抱きかかえ、掛け声と共に、頭上高く振り上げて取組ませる。国選択無形民俗文化財・鹿沼市指定無形民俗文化財となっている。

A prayer ritual performed for children’s health towards a deity worshiped in Ikiko Shrine for bringing safe pregnancy and rearing children. A parishioner dressed as a sumo wrestler takes children from the East and West side of the ring, and with a loud voice grabs them and makes them wrestle high above the head. It is a Nationally Registered Intangible Folk Cultural Property and a Kanuma City Registered Intangible Folk Cultural Property.
