大潮まつりは、大漁を祈願して漁業関係者が神輿を担ぎ大漁・海上安全を祈願するまつり。神輿は、早朝川口神社を出て、ウォッセ～東銀座～銚港神社～第1市場～浜通り～第2市場を経由して練り歩きます。若い人や神輿揉み団体が大勢参加し、神輿の担ぎかたが荒々しく勇ましいです。

At the Spring Tide Festival portable shrines are paraded around the city by locals in the fishing industry, to pray for large fish and safe travels out to sea. Young people and local shrine organizations partake, and they carry the shrine bravely and powerfully.
