明和年間、押日八幡神社の社殿改築の際に、椎木村から古い神輿を貰い受け、押日八幡神社に納めたのが始まりと言われるお祭り。近隣の5社の神輿が集まるため、「中根六社神社祭礼」とも言われる。山王堰の周辺を神輿を担いで走った後、境内で若者たちが人間ピラミッドを組み、最上段の人が扇をかざして「オーヤノヘー」と囃したてる。

Back in Meiwa period, during the renovation of the main shrine building of the Oshibi Hachiman Shrine was given an old Mikoshi from the Shiki Village, which was preserved in the Oshibi Hachiman Shrine from then on and is said was the start of the festival. Mikoshis from 5 other shrines in the area gather, and is why the festival is also called the Nakane Rokusha Jinja Festival. The Mikoshi's are carried around the Sanno dam, there after the participants create a human pyramid, and the man on top waves a fan around while singing "oyanohe-".
