小見川祇園祭は、文献によると寛永16年（1639年）より始められた須賀神社の例祭。神事の神輿の渡御に付随する屋台の引き廻しがこの祭の特徴です。彫物や色彩があでやかで、当時内田氏一万石の城下町であると共に利根川水運の河港として栄えた江戸文化の粋が随所に取り入れられています。二層式の屋台は1階はお囃子、2階は演芸場となり、各屋台とも芸人さんの芸が披露されます。

In literature, the Omigawa Gion Festival began in 1639 as the annual festival of Suga Shrine. One particular feature of this festival is the festival floats associated with the local shrines that are pulled around the area. Their builds and coloring are amazing. Music is played on the first floor of the float, the second has entertainment, with each float showcasing different comedians.
