小鶴祇園祭は小鶴諏訪神社の境内にある八坂神社の祭礼で、無病息災を祈願したのが始まりといわれている祭り。
1日目の宵祇園では、神社を出た神輿が御仮屋に到着した後、当番人は翌朝まで御仮屋で寝ずの番をし、2日目の本祇園では地域や小鶴商店街で渡御が行われ、子供神輿や山車も一緒に練り歩きます。
This festival is a Yasaka Shrine festival held on the grounds of Kozuru Suwa Shrine, and is believed to have originated as a way to pray for good health.
The first day is the eve of Gion when portable shrines from various shrines in the area arrive at their temporary storage rooms, and the vigils on duty stay awake all night with them. The second day is Gion itself and the shrines are paraded around the area and shopping district, along with children shrines and floats.
