湖国屈指の大祭であり湖国三大祭の1つです。日吉大社の例祭で「山王さん」の呼び名で親しまれています。見どころは神輿が練り歩く神輿渡御。
14日お昼から７基の神輿は神社を出て町内を巡り、琵琶湖上へと進みます。

It is the foremost grand festival in Kokoku and one of the 3 biggest Kokoku Festival. It is the annual festival at Hiyoshi Taisha and called as "Sanno-san" with affinity. The highlight is Mikoshitogyo where Mikoshi parade.
7 Mikoshi depart the shrine at noon on 14th, walk around the town, and proceed to Lake Biwa.
