世界遺産に登録されている奈良県・春日大社の中の約3000基の灯籠が灯る祭事。
春日大社内に入りこの万灯籠を参拝できるのは、8月14日１５日の「中元万灯籠」と、節分の日の「節分万灯籠」だけであり、大変貴重。

This lantern festival at Kasuga Grand Shrine, a registered World Heritage Site, in Nara Prefecture has over 3000 lanterns. You can only worship the lanterns at the Kasuga Grand Shrine on August 14th and 15th with the “Chugen Man-toro” and “Setsubun Man-toro” on the day of Setsubun, which are both very valuable events.
