家の戸を立てて（閉めて）家族総出で祭りに参加したことにちなむ。だんじりは重厚な造りの２階構造で、上の前面に自治会や青年団の役員ら〝上乗りさん〟が黒の紋付袴姿で座り、下には鐘と太鼓の囃し方が乗り込む。鐘はお寺の梵鐘を小さくしたような高さ40ｃｍほどの釣り鐘。神社の祭りに鉦でなく鐘の取り合わせも魅力。

It is connected to how the doors (to) of the house are all closed (tate) since the whole family takes part in the festival. The floats are built very heavy with two floors, the top floor seats the local residents association and young men’s association leaders in their black hakamas with their family crests, and the lower floor seating the bells and taiko drum accompanists. The bell is like a Buddhist Temple bell, but much smaller hanging bell which has a height of 40 cm. It is attractive how they use a handing bell instead of a gong for a shrine festival.
