1200年あまりの歴史があり、一年に一度、宇太水分神社の速秋津彦命(男の神様)に惣社宇太水分神社速秋津姫命(女の神様)が渡御されるもので、神輿を中心に、毛槍・花籠・神輿太鼓などを従えて、往復約12kmの道のりを渡られます。 また、菟田野各区から重さ1トンを越える太鼓台(6基)百十数人で担ぎ出され、町全体を練り歩く勇壮さは迫力満点です。

With a history of about 1200 years, once a year the deity Hayaakitsuhikonomikoto of Uda Mikumari Shrine (male deity) and Hayaakitsuhimenomikoto of Soja Uda Mikumari Shrine (female deity) transfer from their enshrinement, and are celebrated with mikoshi being the main event, and Keyari parade, Hanakago, Mikoshi Taiko drums, all traveling round trip for about 12 km. And a Taiko platform weighing 1 ton is pulled out by over 100 people from the Utano region, and the parading around town bravely is surely an impactful sight.
