薪御能は興福寺修二会の薪迎えの行事に行われた舞楽から発祥、平安時代から始まりました。
猿楽から能楽へと発展してきた神事芸能です。

Takigi Onoh originated from the court dances and music when Kofukuji Temple Shunie held events of Takigi mukae in Heian period.
It is a ritual treatment developed from Sarugaku to Nohgaku.
