約1200年続く祭りで、五穀豊穣や豊漁などを祈願する浦嶋子（浦嶋太郎）を祭神とした浦島神社の例大祭。
宵宮では、提灯を持った若者達が宮入し、本祭では、太刀振りなどが奉納される。

This festival is around 1200 years old, and prays to Urashimako (Taro Urashima) who is enshrined at Urashima Shrine, for good crops and good fish. Young people with lanterns enter the shrine on the eve of the festival, then rituals such as the sword dance are performed on the day of the festival.
