文禄年間より宇奈月町明日の法福寺に伝わる伝統舞楽で、国の無形民俗文化財にも指定されている。毎年4月の第3日曜に、法福寺境内に仮設された舞台上で、4名の稚児が笛と太鼓の泰楽に合わせて、「矛の舞」「太平楽」「臨河の舞」「万歳楽」「千秋楽」の5曲を古式ゆかしく演じる。

A traditional dancing and music being told at Hofukuji Temple in Akebi, Unazukimachi since the Genroku period, and is registered as a National Intangible Folk Cultural Asset. Every year, on the 3rd Sunday of April, 4 children perform 5 dances on the temporary stage in the Hofukuji Temple grounds, perform gracefully according to the traditional rituals along with flutes and drums, "Hoko no Mai", "Taiheiraku", "Ringa no mai", "Manzairaku", and "Senshuraku".
