珠洲デカ曳山まつりはかつて曳き回されていたデカ曳山を旧黒丸地内にて当時のコマが見つかったことを受け、奥能登の伝統芸能の継承のため、復活と保存、地域振興を目的に再建したことから始まりました。まつり当日は一般観光客が一緒にデカ曳山を砂浜で曳くことができます。

Suzu Deka Festival was revitalized having the objective to restore, continue, and preserve Okunoto's traditional entertainment, and develop the area. It started after a wooden wheel from the original float which used to be paraded around was found within original Kuromaru area.
