輪島に春の訪れを告げる風物詩で厄年を迎えた男衆が曳山とともに街を練り歩きます。曳山は華麗な総輪島塗のもので、高さは5メートルにも及ぶもの。曳山には趣向を凝らした人形と男衆が乗り込み、地元の人たちや子どもたちによって山車が曳かれていきます。

Men who have reached the age of evil come with the floats and parade through the streets of Wajima, a tradition that heralds the arrival of spring. The floats are made of gorgeous Wajima lacquerware and stand as high as 5 meters. The floats are pulled by local people and children.
