「しねり弁天！」と声をかければ男性は女性をつねってよく、「たたき地蔵！」と呼べば女性は男性を叩けるという世にも奇妙なお祭り。若い衆が長さ7尺・重さ200貫の金精様をお囃子に合わせて町内を引き回す。最後に弁天堂に「入れる・入れない」の儀式のあと弁天様に婿入りという形で突入し、祭りはクライマックスを迎える。
