毎年8月13日から15日に開催される鳥取市最大のイベント「鳥取しゃんしゃん祭」。メインイベントの一斉傘踊りでは、約4000人の人がしゃんしゃんと鈴の音をならしながら、舞踊る姿は圧巻です。ステージイベントや、出店の屋台村の他、１５日には、納涼の花火大会も行われます。

This is Tottori’s largest event which runs from August 13th to the 15th every year. The main event is the issei kasa odori, or the ‘All at Once Umbrella Dance’, where around 4000 people dance together to the ringing of bells, and is truly amazing. There are other stage events, shops and stalls, and on the evening of the 15th there is a large fireworks display.
