ひろしまフラワーフェスティバルは1977年にはじまった広島最大級のイベントです。 広島を花と緑と音楽のあふれる都市にしよう 平和に生きることのすばらしさと尊さを、参加者みんなで分ち合おう 広島から世界へ、豊かな生活文化と、温かい人間関係の交流を呼びかけようをテーマにしています。 祭りは、パレード（3日の花の総合パレードと5日のきんさいYOSAKOIパレード）、 ステージ（3～5日、約30ヶ所）、ひろば（3～5日、約80ヶ所）、 の3部門を中心に構成され、毎年ゴールデンウィークの3日間で、 160万人を超える人出でにぎわいます。
The Hiroshima Flower Festival started in 1977, and is one of Hiroshima's largest events. With a theme of making Hiroshima a city filled with flowers, greens, music, and teaching how living with peace is a noble thing, this theme is shared among the participants. Pre-senting this message from Hiroshima to the world, with a rich life and culture, and calling on warm human relations and exchanges. The festival consists of parades (the general flower parade on the 3rd, and the Kinsai YOSAKOI parade on the 5th), stages (3rd to 5th, approximately 30 locations), plaza (3rd to 5th, approximately 80 locations), divided into 3 sections. Every year during 3 days of Golden Week, over 1.6 million people come and make the festival very lively.
