馬関まつりは、神輿や、屋台、ライブやダンスが行われるステージで下関の街全体がお祭り一色となります。23日の「平家踊総踊り大会」では、約4000人の踊り手が「平家踊り」が会場を埋め尽くして踊ります。観ているだけでなく飛び入り参加も可能です。
The whole city of Shimonoseki becomes awash in color with live performances and dances on stage, floats, and portable mikoshi shrines. Around 4,000 people dance the heike dance at the “Heike Dance Tournament”, filling the venue with dancers. You don’t have to just watch, but anyone can join in.
