上山を代表する秋まつりで、会場には大小様々な500体以上のかかしが並ぶ。祭り期間中は、フードコートやステージイベント、「全国絶叫大会」「かかし立ち選手権大会」「国際下駄飛ばし選手権大会」など参加型イベントも開催される。

At the fall festival that represents Kaminoyama, over 500 different kakashi (scarecrows) are on display at the site. During the festival, stage events and a food court are set up, and the National Screaming Competition, Kakashi Tachi Competition, International Geta-tobashi (kicking Geta away) Competition are held for any and all participants.
