東北屈指の神輿の祭典として知られ、寒河江駅前広場に威勢のいい掛け声とともに江戸前神輿や神奈川湘南系の神輿、寒河江八幡宮の本社神輿などが一堂に会する全国でも珍しい神輿祭り。そのほかにも、寒河江八幡宮では流鏑馬を行うほか、ふるさと芸能まつりや、グルメイベントなどが開催される。
Known for being the leading Mikoshi fair in the Tohoku region, held in front of the Sagae Station, the participants carry the Edo and Kanagawa Shonan type Mikoshi's while raising their voices. A very fare Mikoshi Festival where the Sagae Hachimangu Honsha Mikoshi and the other Mikoshis come together. And besides that, other events such as horseback archery held at Sagae Hachimangu, Furusato Entertainment Festivals, and gourmet events are held.
