みちのく五大雪まつりの一つに数えられるお祭り。秋田県男鹿市北浦の真山神社の神事「柴灯祭」と秋田の民俗行事「ナマハゲ」を組み合わせた男鹿の冬を代表するお祭り。
神社境内に焚き上げられた柴灯火のもとで勇壮で迫力あるナマハゲの乱舞が繰り広げられる。

A festival considered to be one of the top 5 Michinoku Snow Festivals. The festival represents winter of Oga, combination of "Sedo Festival" (Shinzan Shrine, Kitaura, Oga-shi, Akita-ken) and "Namahage", Akita's folk event.
Under the Sedo fire, Namahage dance valiantly and tremendously in the shrine.
