とうろう流しと大花火大会は福井県敦賀市の松原海岸で行われている花火大会です。県内外からたくさんの人が訪れる大型イベントで、読経に合わせて流される約6000個の灯ろうと、約1万2000発の打ち上げ花火により水と光と音が調和した神秘的な光景を演出します。

This lantern floating and fireworks display is held on the Matsubara coast in the town of Tsuruga in Fukui Prefecture. 6,000 lanterns are let out to sea while Buddhist sutra are chanted, followed by 12,000 fireworks. The sound and sight of the sea and lights combine to produce a harmonious and mysterious atmosphere.
