450年の歴史を持ち、国の無形民俗文化財にも選択されている「鶴崎おどり」を踊るお祭です。各団体揃いの衣裳で、約1000人の踊子が、七重八重の輪をつくりテンポが遅くしなやかで優美な「猿丸太夫」と、速く軽快な囃子にのって踊る「左衛門」を踊ります。踊り終了時には打ち上げ花火が上がります。
With a 450-year-old history this Tsurusaki Dance festival was selected as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan. There are about 1000 dancers and each group has their own costumes as they perform different traditional dances; such as the beautiful sarumaru dayu as they make a seven and eight layered ring to a slow flexible and beautiful tempo, or the saemon dance accompanied by fast and nimble music. There is a fireworks display when the dances have all finished.
