伊達政宗が身を隠して難を逃れたと伝わる「焼き臼」を祀る水雲神社で、毎年11月に例大祭が執り行われます。隔年（西暦偶数年）で行われる神輿渡御と夜の山車行列が名物となっており、花で飾られた山車が氏子らに引かれて、地区を練り歩きます。太鼓の競演が楽しめるほか、露店も並び賑わいます。

The annual festival is held in November at the Suigumo Shrine, which enshrines the "Yaki-usu" (burnt rice mortar) in which Date Masamune is said to have hidden himself and escaped from danger. The festival is famous for the parade of portable shrines held every other year (even-numbered years) and the night parade of floats, in which floats decorated with flowers are pulled by shrine parishioners through the district. The festival is also crowded with street stalls and taiko drum performances.
