宜野湾市に伝わる羽衣伝説にちなんで名付けられた宜野湾市を代表する夏のお祭りです。
約300人の大行列が衣裳を身にまとい歓海門通りを縦断する「察度王歴史絵巻行列」や、
青年会のエイサー、飛衣羽衣カチャーシー大会、屋外劇場でのライブイベントなど沢山の催し物が開かれます。

This is a representative festival of Gino port city, named after the legend of Hagoromo in Ginowan City. Around 300 people wearing costumes walk through Yorokobi Kaimon gate, which is called “Satto Rekishi Emaki Parade”. There are also eisa performances by youth group, Tobinsu Haninsu kachashi folk dance, and lots of other entertainment.
