唐津くんちは唐津神社の秋季例大祭で唐津最大の行事です。「くんち」とは「供日」とも書き、収穫感謝の意が込められているお祭りです。国の重要無形民俗文化財にも指定されています。
見どころは巨大な曳山が街を練り歩くところです。

The Karatsukunchi is a fall annual grand festival for the Karatsu Shrine, Karatsu's largest event. Kunchi means Kunichi (fall festival), a festival where thanks giving for the harvest is performed. It is registered as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset.
The highlight is the large floats parading around town.
